Interfaith Ministries' MLK Day of Youth Service

In 1994, Congress designated the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday as a national day of service. Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM) has planned the ILEAD Youth Day of Service on this day to highlight the importance of working together to build a better community and to strive to better understand each other. This is a unique opportunity for youth to serve side-by-side with people from a variety of faith backgrounds. There will be time to get to know each other and time to work together to support the clients of IM.

The Refuge youth will be participating this year, as they did last year! And if you’re a grown FCC congregant and/or a Refuge parent, please know that we will need some chaperones!
