FCC has bilateral governance through a Board of Elders (aka “Elders”) and General Board (aka “Board”), with both providing oversight, guidance, and support of all church activities. The two bodies function in tandem as two sides of the same coin, with the Elders leading in the area of ministry (“what” we do, and “why” we do it), while the Board leads in the areas of the business and administration that supports our ministerial objectives (“how, when, who, how much”). To do this, the Board holds meetings at least 6-time per year – usually once a month. (The minutes of our Board meetings are available online on our website).  Board meetings are open to any who wish to attend (except in special circumstances).

In the interest of transparency, First Christian Church invites any interested parties to peruse its General Board information. Click here for access.
