Xtreme Disciples - FCC's Youth Group

Travis Rogers, Interim Youth Leader is leading the group in a course "Confident Christian: A 6-Week Study on Apologetics for Teens" by Group Publishing.

In the first two lessons we have discussed how we define "good people" and "bad people", how some perceive you can earn your way into heaven, how other religions define heaven and the path to get there, why we need a savior, and how Jesus laid out salvation for us all.

Let’s face it, being a teenager is not easy. Talk about pressure! In addition to mountains of homework, dodging awkward situations, making lasting friendships, and planning for your entire future, you are expected to discover who you really are. Yikes!

That’s why the First Christian Church Youth Group is the place to be. We understand that being a teenager is not easy. Our group is a great place where teenagers can belong, have fun, and figure out what’s really important in life.

Our main focus is bringing young people in to a vital relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Bible study, worship, prayer, and service projects we strive to live authentic lives that affect the world around us. We also have a lot of exciting activities where friendships can grow.

If you are interested connecting with others and learning more about a life in Jesus Christ, then please join us. We meet at 6 p.m. on Sunday nights at the church and a delicious meal is provided.
