CHILDREN'S SERVICE:
FAITH FACTORY

Sundays in January in Faith Factory, we will be "digging in" to the Parable of the Sower usingthe ReNew series:

What is Faith Factory?

Faith Factory is a Sunday-morning worship experience for children ages three through fifth grade.  In Faith Factory we have fun learning about the Bible – and how God wants us to live our lives – through stories, songs, games, drama, movies, activities and more.  We model worship activities including offering, prayer and communion.

Past Faith Factory themes have included:

How does my child get connected to Faith Factory?

Families begin worship together in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m.  Following the children’s moment, children ages three through fifth grade are invited to the Faith Factory.  Adult leaders and youth helpers escort the children from the sanctuary to the Faith Factory room in the Children’s Wing. Parents are welcome to join their children in Faith Factory, send their children to Faith Factory on their own, or have their children remain with them during worship in the sanctuary.  Parents pick their children up in the Faith Factory room following worship.

What about infants and toddlers?

On Sunday mornings, our long-time staff is available from 9:15 a.m. through the end of worship to provide loving care for infants and toddlers. Parents are welcome to have their infants and toddlers remain with them during worship in the sanctuary.  Please check about child care availability during activities at other times.

What about other activities for children?

Watch the church website and newsletter for information about upcoming special events and services.

Past children’s special events include:

Our annual Vacation Bible School (aka Faith Factory Summer Camp) is typically held the third week of July for ages three through completed fifth grade.  The core program runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon daily, and care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for elementary age children.  This fun week includes high-enery worship, Bible stories, songs, drama, crafts, games, snacks, mission activities and more!  See our VBS page for more information.

Our children also attend church camp at the Disciple Oaks Conference Center near Gonzales, Texas.  The Coastal Plains and Bluebonnet Areas of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) sponsors Beginners Camp for children who have completed 2nd & 3rd grades and Junior Camp for children who have completed 4th & 5th grades.
